Description

You will support the organization, maintenance, and reliable operation of the company network. The position includes installing, configuring, and administering network components, setting up collaboration devices, and ensuring LAN/WLAN infrastructure is commissioned and administered. You will also wire and connect network devices, act as a service-oriented contact for network technology, and analyze and resolve operational network issues.

Responsibilities

• Support the organization, maintenance, and reliability of network operations
• Assist with installation, mounting, and administration of network components
• Install and set up collaboration devices
• Commission and administer LAN and WLAN infrastructure
• Cabling and connecting network devices
• Serve as a knowledgeable, service-oriented contact for network technology
• Analyze and resolve network faults in day-to-day operations

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as an IT specialist (Informatiker) or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in a comparable role
• Good knowledge of networking technologies and the TCP/IP environment
• Plus: network certifications
• Ideal experience with routers and firewalls and their functioning
• Target- and team-oriented working style with strong communication skills
• Good English skills
• Willingness to travel
