Description

You will support the organization, maintenance, and reliable operation of the network. Responsibilities include administering network components, installing and configuring collaboration devices, and running the LAN/WLAN infrastructure. You will also handle cabling and connectivity of network devices and analyze and resolve operational network incidents.

Responsibilities

• Support organization, upkeep, and assurance of network operations
• Help with installation, assembly, and administration of network components
• Install and set up collaboration devices
• Commission and administer LAN and WLAN infrastructure
• Cable and connect network devices
• Act as a service-oriented contact for network technology
• Analyze and troubleshoot network faults in day-to-day operations

Requirements

• Successfully completed vocational training as an IT specialist (Informatiker) or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in a comparable position
• Good knowledge of networking and the TCP/IP environment
• Network certifications are a plus
• Experience with routers and firewalls and how they work is ideal
• Target- and team-oriented approach with strong communication skills
• Good English skills
• Willingness to travel
