Description

Take ownership of a local IT infrastructure in a standalone role, reporting directly to management and coordinating with an international IT team. You will manage Cisco LAN/WAN networking, configure routers/switches/firewalls, administer Windows Server and Linux, and support virtualization and cloud services. The position also includes IT security, monitoring and outage response, backups/data recovery support, and end-user IT support for 100+ devices.

Responsibilities

• Administer LAN/WAN infrastructure and networking equipment (Cisco)

• Configure and maintain routers, switches, and firewalls

• Manage servers (Windows Server, Linux)

• Operate virtualization (VMware)

• Support cloud services (Microsoft 365, Azure)

• Ensure IT security using VPN, encryption, and ACL

• Monitor infrastructure and resolve outages

• Manage backups and support data recovery

• Provide IT support for end users (100+ devices)

Requirements

• Experience as a Network Administrator / IT Administrator

• Practical knowledge of networking technologies and IT security

• Experience with virtualization (VMware)

• English for communication with the foreign headquarters

• Ability to independently troubleshoot technical problems and set priorities

• Experience from a manufacturing environment is an advantage
