• Role: IT Network Specialist (2nd-line support consultant)

Description

Configure and administer IT network and security systems, with a focus on Cisco networking and protections at the Internet boundary. Work with LAN/WAN/WLAN devices, security infrastructure (firewall/AAA/proxy, WAF, IDS/IPS, anti-spam and sandbox, load balancers, VPN access), and collaborate across internal teams and external partners. Provide 2nd-line support by handling service tickets for network/security issues.

Responsibilities

• Configure Cisco network devices for LAN/WAN/WLAN

• Configure security-related systems at the Internet edge

• Collaborate with other offices and external companies on projects

• Act as a 2nd-line support consultant for service request handling

Requirements

• Professional experience in IT networking and securing connections with external networks

• Very good ability to configure Cisco network devices (switches, routers, firewalls)

• Experience with configuration and administration of Check Point solutions

• Knowledge of security technologies: firewall, AAA, proxy (with web categorization and content filtering), WAF, IDS/IPS, anti-spam and sandbox, load balancer, VPN access

• Strong collaboration skills and responsibility for shared goals

• Proactive and flexible approach in a changing business environment
