Description

You will lead software engineering activities while strengthening the team’s Python competency. The role includes resource management, coaching key engineers, creating personal development plans, driving recruitment and onboarding, and maintaining an enjoyable, motivating working environment. You will also ensure delivery quality by managing schedules, issues, and client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Actively contribute to software development and uphold engineering standards (corporate and project-specific)

• Establish client partnerships, manage expectations, and take full responsibility for delivery

• Define project schedules, manage team priorities, ensure defects/issues are resolved, and deliver on time

• Participate in project design and manage product life cycle processes to meet financial, business, and schedule objectives

• Collaborate with developers on requirement interpretation, supervise development, review deliverables, and ensure client satisfaction

• Plan necessary resources for new opportunities and existing business

• Recruit personnel (including internal mobility) and set up an effective onboarding process

• Perform knowledge management: define required skills/technologies and arrange training using the company’s L&D capabilities

Requirements

• 7+ years of practical background in software engineering with Python and cloud technologies

• 2+ years delivering projects using Agile methodology (experience with Kanban and Scrum preferred)

• Expertise in project management and software engineering standards/practices

• Proficiency managing a team of 15+ people and handling people management topics

• Good leadership and communication skills

• English level B2+ (verbal and written)
