Description

Grove is rebuilding its store with a new Human Health positioning. You will define the vision and turn it into executable design direction across end-to-end core flows—from homepage through category, search, product detail, cart, and checkout—so Product and Engineering can build against it. You’ll also drive the rebuild through AI prototyping, leadership feedback, and launch, while mentoring designers and raising craft.

Responsibilities

• Define and document the store vision and design principles aligned to Human Health

• Translate positioning into design direction teams can execute independently

• Own end-to-end core flows and ensure consistency via patterns and design system components

• Use AI prototyping weekly to align early on the real customer experience

• Participate in Walk The Store sessions with CEO and leadership to prioritize rebuild work

• Mentor designers and raise the bar on interaction design, IA, visual design, and systems thinking

Requirements

• Experience having previously done a commerce rebuild from start to launch

• Ability to hold direction while creating execution-ready Figma artifacts

• Comfort sequencing a rebuild without disrupting ongoing business

• Strong e-commerce depth at scale (merchandising, search, subscription mechanics)

• AI prototyping fluency and awareness of what today’s tools can and cannot do

• Ability to present to executives, advise on trade-offs and sequencing, and incorporate hard feedback

• Strong craft across interaction design, information architecture, visual design, and systems thinking; fast in Figma

• Salary range: $180,000–$210,000 + annual incentive target and equity
