Description

As a Principal UI Designer, you will set the visual quality bar and define how the product’s visual design principles come to life—typography, color, hierarchy, layout, interaction, motion, and system feedback—to create intuitive, premium, and emotionally engaging experiences.

You will influence the evolution of the design language at scale, explore emerging interaction models and AI capabilities, and establish AI-assisted design workflows that improve quality, consistency, and speed.

Your impact is measured by the quality of experiences influenced by your vision, guidance, and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Define the visual quality bar for Sportsbook across iOS, Android, and Web

  • Establish visual design principles across the product, including typography, color, hierarchy, layout, interaction, motion, and system feedback

  • Partner with Product Design leaders to define scalable interaction, motion, and visual principles across customer touchpoints

  • Build trusted partnerships with Product Design, Product Management, Engineering, Brand, and Formation to make shared product decisions

  • Drive evolution of the design language for consistency while enabling innovation where it creates meaningful customer value

  • Champion accessibility, inclusive design, and usability without compromising visual craft or brand expression

  • Explore emerging interaction models, AI capabilities, and platform technologies

  • Lead rapid concept exploration to imagine ambitious customer experiences before implementation constraints

  • Establish AI-assisted design workflows to improve quality, consistency, and speed

  • Coach designers through critique, pairing, workshops, and hands-on craft leadership

  • Influence engineering implementation to ensure production quality reflects design intent

  • Build reusable libraries, templates, prompts, and tooling to increase design organization capability and efficiency

  • Represent Product Design in executive discussions where visual quality is central to product strategy
