Role Description

Design oral care products and hardware experiences as part of a multidisciplinary global design team. You will translate commercial briefs into user needs and design opportunities, then drive the work from concept through production and launch.

Responsibilities

  • Translate commercial briefs into user needs, pain points, and design opportunities
  • Monitor product trends and the competitive landscape to inform design direction
  • Frame the design challenge, define success criteria, and establish requirements
  • Generate and develop concepts covering form, color, material, finish, and interaction
  • Create experience flow to map the user journey and identify product opportunities
  • Partner with engineering, interaction, packaging, and global design teams to ensure usability, feasibility, and alignment
  • Produce high-quality renderings, presentations, and specifications (including 3D CAD and CMF)
  • Validate designs via critiques, engineering builds, and samples; maintain documentation and follow development processes
  • Guide junior designers and agency partners
  • Evaluate design project outcomes to capture learnings for continuous improvement

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in Product Design or Industrial Design
  • Consumer electronics experience required
  • Strong design skills in form, color, material, and finishing
  • Ability to independently lead design projects with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency with 3D CAD (Rhino, CREO, SolidWorks, or similar)
  • Proficiency with rendering tools (KeyShot or similar)
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in relevant design/engineering fields, or 7+ years related experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • US work authorization required
