Front-End/UI Designer

We are seeking a hands-on Front-End/UI Designer focused on design systems and product UI execution to partner with a senior design lead to modernize the user experience of an enterprise PLM and digital thread platform. You will help increase design throughput, improve UI consistency, and remove day-to-day bottlenecks across multiple teams by turning conceptual ideas into high-quality, buildable UI and evolving a growing design system.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to and evolve a shared design system, including components, tokens, and layout patterns, while ensuring visual consistency across apps and services.
• Develop early concepts into thoughtful, high-fidelity UI designs with strong visual clarity that reflect real product use and constraints.
• Support multiple product teams with daily UI needs, including layouts, feature interfaces, icons, and detailed specifications for engineering delivery.
• Translate conceptual direction into reusable UI structures and actionable deliverables to streamline engineering workflows.
• Own execution and production work streams autonomously while staying closely aligned with the design lead.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-moving, highly collaborative environment to continuously eliminate design bottlenecks.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of product UX/UI design experience; B2B SaaS or enterprise experience is preferred over pure agency or consulting experience.
• Strong UI execution expertise and hands-on experience working within, contributing to, or maintaining design systems.
• Mastery of visual design fundamentals, including layout, typography, spacing, hierarchy, and responsive UI patterns.
• Pragmatic, detail-oriented mindset and the ability to navigate evolving requirements and efficiently deliver clean, buildable UI solutions.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, auto-layout, and design tokens.
• Working familiarity with front-end fundamentals, including HTML, CSS layout models, and basic JavaScript/React implementation constraints.
• Strong English communication skills for collaboration with engineering, product, and design stakeholders.

Desired Qualifications

• Ability to take loosely defined problems and produce workable UI solutions without fully defined briefs.
• Comfort designing with real browser implementation constraints in mind, including what is feasible in React and modern CSS frameworks.
• Portfolio demonstrating real product UI, including shipped or buildable features, and design system contributions rather than purely conceptual or marketing design.
• Interest in growing toward advanced design, UI architecture, or design-technology hybrid roles.
