Our client is a global software company transforming the way engineering and manufacturing organizations develop and manage complex products. Their platform enables leading manufacturers to accelerate innovation, improve collaboration, and optimize product lifecycle management.

We are seeking a Product Designer to join a cross-functional Agile product team and drive user-centered design across the product development lifecycle. In this role, you will collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and other Designers to understand user needs, define UX solutions, and deliver high-quality product experiences. You will contribute to product strategy, facilitate user research, and continuously improve design practices while helping build a strong product culture.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a cross-functional, geographically dispersed Agile product team to drive human-centered design processes.
  • Lead the definition and execution of UX outcomes, translating research findings, analytics, and user feedback into effective design solutions.
  • Conduct and facilitate user research, contextual inquiry, and usability testing to deeply understand customer needs and workflows.
  • Create design artifacts with appropriate fidelity, including user flows, maps, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI, to communicate design concepts and intent.
  • Work closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams to ensure design solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with business goals.
  • Support overall product strategy and advocate for user needs across the organization.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of design processes, share best practices, and help elevate the UX culture within the team.

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years of experience in Product Design, UX Design, Service Design, or a related discipline, with a proven track record of designing complex digital products.
  • Experience in or familiarity with the manufacturing industry and product development workflows, such as PLM, Digital Thread, engineering design automation, or related B2B enterprise domains.
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design methodologies, Lean UX, and design thinking principles; hands-on proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
  • Ability to plan, conduct, and analyze user research and usability testing, translating insights into actionable product improvements.
  • Ability to generate order and clarity from ambiguity and chaos, with experience designing both new concepts and extending deployed, mission-critical systems.
  • Strong ability to communicate design decisions and rationale to technical and non-technical stakeholders across dispersed teams.

Desired Qualifications

  • Background in B2B SaaS or complex multi-channel systems.
  • General understanding of front-end platforms, such as React and Angular, and awareness of ML/AI concepts.
  • Degree in Design, User Experience, Human Factors, or a related field.
