Description

You will take responsibility for sonar-software development activities and for the software architecture with a strong focus on quality, cost, and deadlines. You will evaluate, delegate, and steer work-package activities (quality, cost, time), while leading and developing teams in an agile software environment. The role also involves advising product/project management and internal/external customers and reducing complexity via decompositions, implementation concepts, and software design.

Responsibilities

• Own the necessary activities within sonar software development, including software architecture aligned to quality, cost, and schedule
• Assess, delegate, and manage work package activities with regard to quality, cost, and time (QKT)
• Proactively build and secure expertise in coordination with leadership to provide competencies and develop employees
• Enable and develop the project team within a specialized topic area
• Advise and support product/project management and internal/external customers in software development and stakeholder management
• Reduce complexity through further decompositions and initiate implementation concepts and software designs

Requirements

• University degree in a MINT/STEM field or comparable qualification
• Long-term professional experience in software plus relevant experience as Product Owner and/or in project management
• Strong project management competence to control work packages by quality, cost, and time targets
• Technical/functional leadership experience for teams of multiple software developers, testers, and/or software engineers
• Experience with agile working methods in the software development context
