Description

Lead, manage, and grow a team of software engineers to deliver scalable infrastructure projects for the home. You will define and drive engineering roadmaps, align technical investments with long-term goals, and oversee deployment of large-scale projects across multiple sites. You also partner with client teams to clarify roles and responsibilities for horizontal infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and grow software engineering teams; drive hiring, onboarding, mentorship, and performance management

• Foster a high-trust, high-performance, collaborative team culture

• Define and execute strategic engineering direction and roadmaps for long-term goals

• Partner with client teams to establish clear roles and responsibilities for horizontal infrastructure

• Manage engineers across multiple teams and locations and oversee deployment of large-scale, international projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience

• 8 years of software development experience

• 3 years of experience developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or compute/storage/hardware architecture

• Experience with Infrastructure and Production Systems

Benefits

• US compensation range: $207,000–$300,000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits
