Description

You will develop and operate data-intensive backend systems in Python, working on production-ready solutions with measurable impact on reducing food waste. This role is not classic CRUD work; you’ll take technical responsibility for architecture and technical decisions and improve quality through code reviews. An optional path toward technical leadership (Lead Developer) is available.

Responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve the Python backend
• Design, operate, and evolve REST APIs
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines
• Model, optimize, and manage PostgreSQL databases
• Analyze and debug complex data flows
• Perform code reviews and contribute to architecture decisions

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional Python experience (ideal 5+ years)
• Very strong backend understanding
• Experience with SQL and PostgreSQL
• Experience with ETL and data processing
• Experience with Git, merge requests, and CI/CD
• German C1 and English B1
