Description

Design, develop, and integrate automated systems that support process and/or material development projects. Lead technology development aligned with TRL/MRL toll gates and provide daily process development support in collaboration with engineers and engineering technicians. Ensure on-time, quality execution of materials and process deliverables while maintaining compliance with TRL, MRL, EHS, CMS, QMS, and PPAP.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and integrate automated systems for process/material development

  • Lead and support technology development in adherence with TRL and MRL toll gates

  • Support daily process development with engineers and engineering technicians

  • Coordinate between engineering groups (programs, chief office engineer, aftermarket, manufacturing/operations, facilities, supply chain, test labs, suppliers, customers)

  • Provide technical support for prototype and demonstrator builds

  • Review, understand, provide feedback, and approve manufacturing planning documents

  • Ensure adherence to compliance requirements (TRL, MRL, EHS, CMS, QMS, PPAP)

  • Drive problem-solving initiatives (e.g., root cause and corrective action, OEE, FPY, customer escapes)

  • Participate in PFMEA and control build plans

  • Identify opportunities on drawings and specifications to influence engineering design changes

  • Participate in tool design reviews to ensure tools are feasible for processes

  • Support process improvement and continuous improvement; implement lean manufacturing results

Requirements

  • U.S. Person eligibility required

  • STEM degree with minimum 8 years of relevant experience OR advanced degree with minimum 5 years of relevant experience

  • Multi-axis robotics programming and operation experience

  • PLC programming and operating experience

  • Systems development and integration experience

  • Experience as a technical SME with relationship building, effective communications, and influence

  • Product development and introduction experience
