Description

Engage with technical and program teams to translate questions into clear data and analytical requirements. Architect and develop modular, scalable tools for data processing, analytics, and intuitive user interfaces, and perform exploratory and applied analytics to deliver actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Translate engineering/program questions into data and analytical requirements

• Build scalable data processing and analytics tools using strong coding and version-control practices

• Support end-to-end data solutions (ingestion/parsing through relational modeling to analytics/reporting)

• Design and implement user interfaces for accurate data entry, review, and interaction

• Conduct EDA and applied analytics to identify trends, outliers, and anomalies; communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 5 years relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 3 years, or Ph.D. with 1 year in Systems Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, or Data Science

• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance

• Ability to obtain and maintain SAP clearance

• Advanced Python experience with large production codebases

• Relational database design experience

• Strong SQL skills, including complex joins

• Comfort working with ETL data pipelines to structured data stores

• Version control comfort (Git, branching strategies, code review)

• Strong analytics skills: EDA, summarization, trend detection, anomaly/outlier identification, and metric/statistical framing

• Proficiency in data visualization and storytelling for diverse stakeholders

• Salary range (guideline): $93,300 - $174,500 (Principal) or $114,000 - $213,400 (Sr. Principal)
