Description

You will lead and contribute to the complete hardware development lifecycle for advanced digital electronic systems, from requirements definition and schematic design through testing, validation, integration, qualification, and product deployment. The role includes designing digital electronic circuits and circuit card assemblies (CCAs), performing verification and troubleshooting in engineering labs, and partnering with ECAD drafters on stack-up, SI/PI simulation, layout, and routing.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to all phases of the hardware development lifecycle (concept through qualification and production)
  • Design and develop digital electronic circuits and CCAs using schematic capture tools
  • Perform hardware verification, testing, and troubleshooting using lab equipment
  • Partner with ECAD drafters on stack-up definition, SI/PI simulation, layout, and routing
  • Plan and execute integration and verification in engineering laboratories
  • Define schedules for circuit card and sub-system level tasking
  • Support technical growth for peers and junior engineers

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance (DoD Secret) with active/existing status after day 1
  • STEM degree and minimum 8 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in digital electronics design, schematic capture, and CCA design
  • Experience with requirements capture and traceability
  • Experience across hardware development phases from requirements/design through integration, test, qualification, and production
