Description

Manage and develop server and virtualization infrastructure, including VMware vSphere/vCenter, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra ID integrations. Support on-prem services (including Exchange), ensure security and compliance via hardening, and improve reliability through monitoring, patching, and high availability. The role emphasizes automation using PowerShell/PowerCLI and APIs, plus standardization of configurations and best practices.

Requirements

• Several years of proven experience administering VMware virtualization and Windows Server infrastructure

• Ability to manage VMware vSphere/vCenter, clusters, and performance/migration optimization

• Hands-on knowledge of Windows Server infrastructure: Active Directory, GPO, member servers, ADFS

• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Entra Connect, Conditional Access, and SSO

• Experience with Microsoft Intune for endpoint management and policy enforcement

• Experience with on-prem Exchange administration

• Experience with automation using PowerShell and PowerCLI (including API-based integration)

• Knowledge of security hardening and security frameworks (CIS Benchmarks or STIG is a strong advantage)

• Ability to produce technical documentation and configuration proposals aligned with security compliance requirements

• Orientation to hardware and storage technologies such as Dell/HPE servers, SAN storage, and modern HCI solutions

• Strong analytical thinking, reliability, and careful troubleshooting

• English proficiency sufficient for technical documentation and communication with vendor support

• Clear communication with the team and other departments/customers
