Description

You will help monitor and continuously improve tools that oversee the global IT infrastructure. The position includes operating and developing Linux environments focused on network core services (DNS/DHCP), supporting global email infrastructure and a web proxy with content security, and providing second-level support as the main point of contact for service questions.

Responsibilities

• Care and ongoing development of monitoring tools for worldwide IT infrastructure

• Support worldwide operation and further development of central and decentralized Linux environments with focus on DNS/DHCP

• Assist in planning and operating global email infrastructure and the web proxy with focus on content security

• Participate in IT projects with close collaboration across teams

• Provide second-level support and act as central point of contact for questions about services

• Continuously optimize and expand the services offered

Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science or comparable IT training

• Monitoring experience (preferred)

• Linux server system knowledge (advantage)

• First practical experience in planning and daily operations of network core services (ideal)

• Service orientation and high availability

• Good German and English communication skills (written and spoken)
