Description

You will administer and continuously improve the Microsoft 365 environment, including the Active Directory structure (users, permissions, and GPOs). The role also includes Windows client/server installation, maintenance, and support for hardware and software rollouts, as well as planning IT architecture across locations and delivering IT projects. You will actively contribute to introducing and evolving an ISMS aligned with ISO 27001—improving IT security, supporting audits, and fostering security awareness.

Responsibilities

• Administer and further develop Microsoft 365, including Active Directory structure (user, rights/permissions, and GPO management)
• Install, administer, and maintain Windows clients and servers; support hardware and software rollouts
• Plan and further develop IT architecture across different sites; implement IT projects
• Manage external IT service providers and ensure efficient IT processes
• Handle license management
• Organize and monitor backup and recovery solutions, including Synology systems
• Provide 1st- and 2nd-level support and assist internal business teams
• Support introduction and further development of an ISMS (ISO 27001)
• Analyze and continuously improve the IT security structure
• Create and maintain policies, documentation, and processes
• Prepare for and support internal and external audits; implement required measures
• Train employees and promote security awareness

Requirements

• Completed degree in an IT field or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in IT administration or IT management
• Very strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Windows Server
• Experience in IT security; ideally ISO 27001 / ISMS
• Structured, solution-oriented, and independent working style
• Strong communication skills and hands-on mentality
• Very good German and English skills
