Description

You will manage and continuously optimize the Lobster application system while considering legal, organizational, and technical requirements. The role includes designing, developing, testing, and providing database systems and software interfaces, as well as supporting Automotive EDI integrations based on standard message formats. You will also analyze and process incidents, changes, and service requests to ensure stable operations.

Responsibilities

• Continuously operate and optimize the Lobster application system

• Design, develop, test, and provide databases and software interfaces

• Work with data integration platforms and business intelligence tools

• Participate in projects to improve efficiency and support digital transformation of business processes

• Analyze and resolve disruptions, changes, and service requests

• Plan and execute updates, patches, and tests with internal and external partners

• Implement and maintain EDI connections using common automotive message formats

• Coordinate with stakeholders and service providers to ensure reliable, high-quality application operations

• Create and maintain technical documentation and support IT projects

• Develop and further standardize IT processes and policies

Requirements

• Completed vocational training (e.g., IT specialist) or comparable qualification

• Experience with middleware solutions such as Lobster or comparable EDI systems

• Practical knowledge implementing and supporting EDI standards

• Working knowledge of operating systems, databases, and MS Office

• Strong analytical and structured, solution-oriented working style

• Good German language skills; ideally good English skills
