Description

You will introduce, administer, and continuously improve a central warehouse management system. The role includes configuring master data structures and warehouse management/transport processes, administering interfaces to external customer systems, and providing 1st and 2nd level support for the LVS and connected peripheral devices. You will also optimize existing workflows using new IT tools, including AI, and support project work.

Responsibilities

• Introduce, operate, and continuously improve the central warehouse management system (LVS)

• Configure master data structures and warehouse management/transport processes

• Administer interfaces to external customer systems

• Collaborate closely with project subject-matter experts and operational warehouse sites

• Optimize existing processes using new IT tools, including AI

• Create and maintain system documentation

• Provide 1st and 2nd level support for the LVS and connected peripheral devices

• Participate in projects and independently take over partial projects

Requirements

• Degree in IT or completed vocational training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) or equivalent qualification

• Extensive experience configuring enterprise software (ERP or LVS systems)

• Data converter experience (preferred)

• Logistics process knowledge (preferred)

• Independent, responsible, results-oriented way of working
