Description

You will ensure smooth operations of the SAP system landscape, covering ERP, SRM, EWM, PO, GTS, Fiori, and HCM. You will support and maintain SAP Solution Manager, optimize availability and performance, manage the lifecycle with patches and upgrades, and handle installations and transport of SAP modifications. You will also administer the operating system environment and perform incident management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and run SAP systems (ERP, SRM, EWM, PO, GTS, Fiori, HCM)

• Support and ensure optimal functioning of SAP Solution Manager

• Ensure SAP availability and continuously optimize system performance

• Plan, implement, and monitor patches and upgrades (lifecycle management)

• Install new SAP systems and manage transport of modifications

• Operate supporting OS/network services: NIS, DNS, SMB, NFS, LDAP

• Perform incident management

Requirements

• Completed IT training or degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification

• Solid knowledge and practical experience with virtualization

• Storage systems knowledge, ideally NetApp

• Good Linux knowledge (SLES)

• Basic database knowledge (DB2, Oracle, SAP HANA) is a plus

• Independent and structured working style with strong problem-solving skills

• Teamwork, strong communication, and customer orientation

• Very good German and good English skills
