Description

Software engineers develop next-generation technologies for large-scale information systems and enterprise-grade solutions. As an engineer, you independently design and implement new systems, implement and test multiple features with little or no direction, and collaborate with stakeholders to set future work direction.

Responsibilities

• Set and communicate team priorities that support the broader organization’s goals
• Align strategy, processes, and decision-making across teams
• Set clear expectations for individuals and provide regular performance feedback and coaching
• Develop mid-term technical goals and a roadmap within scope of often multiple teams
• Evolve the roadmap to meet anticipated future requirements and infrastructure needs
• Design, guide, and vet systems designs; write product or system development code for ambiguous problems
• Review code from other engineers and provide feedback on style guidelines, code-in/check-in practices, accuracy, testability, and efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript)
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role
• 2 years of experience in people management or team leadership role
• In-person interviews as part of hiring process

Benefits

• Individual pay determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training
• US pay range: $207000 - $300000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits
