Description

Join a team supporting a core system for a large financial client as a self-motivated, hands-on Senior Java Developer. You will build and enhance Java 8/J2EE applications and REST microservices, troubleshoot Oracle performance issues, and integrate front-end modules with REST APIs. Strong domain experience and Oracle proficiency are required.

Responsibilities

• Develop application components using Java 8, Spring, REST, and microservices
• Design complex architecture and solutions; ensure scalability and reliability
• Collect requirements from Business Analysts and document technical approaches
• Implement enhancements, bug fixes, debugging, and Oracle performance remediation
• Apply SDLC practices for design, coding, testing, and implementation
• Integrate front-end modules with REST APIs
• Create and run unit tests and snapshot tests
• Coordinate with offshore teams for design suggestions and delivery updates
• Mentor developers and provide code review feedback and best-practice guidance
• Support QA, UAT, and production users; assist support teams with debugging
• Build and deploy applications across all environments
• Conduct ongoing demos for UAT users and support teams
