Description

As a Senior Java Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices in a modern, cloud-native environment using AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices utilizing Spring Boot
Work with event-driven architectures using Kafka for scalable, real-time data processing
Deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes, leveraging Argo CD for continuous delivery
Participate in CI/CD pipeline management with GitLab to streamline development workflows
Monitor and observe system performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and the Elastic Stack
Collaborate in an agile, cross-functional team environment
Leverage AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Devin, Claude) to boost productivity and code quality
Contribute to the evolution of security and post-trade processing infrastructure

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in Java development
Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot frameworks
Experience with SDLC tools such as GitLab
Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Hands-on experience with Kafka or similar messaging systems
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Language required: English (Communicative level)
Eligibility: existing legal right to work in the European Union
