Description

As a Senior Java Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices in a modern, cloud-native environment using AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices utilizing Spring Boot
• Work with event-driven architectures using Kafka for scalable, real-time data processing
• Deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes, leveraging Argo CD for continuous delivery
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline management with GitLab to streamline development workflows
• Monitor and observe system performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and the Elastic Stack
• Collaborate in an agile, cross-functional team environment
• Leverage AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Devin, Claude) to boost productivity and code quality
• Contribute to the evolution of security and post-trade processing infrastructure

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Java development
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot frameworks
• Experience with SDLC tools such as GitLab
• Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Hands-on experience with Kafka or similar messaging systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Language required: English (Communicative level)
• Eligibility: existing legal right to work in the European Union
