Description

Own the strategy, growth, and profitability of an outside plant fiber product portfolio, managing the full product lifecycle from concept through end-of-life. Drive new product introductions, financial performance, and roadmap decisions to meet evolving customer and market needs. Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that support broadband network deployments worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the full product lifecycle for the portfolio (concept to end-of-life)

  • Drive profitable growth by managing revenue, margin, market share, and overall business performance

  • Lead new product introductions: market requirements, business cases, pricing strategy, launch planning, and commercialization

  • Develop short- and long-term product line strategies aligned to customer needs and company objectives

  • Collaborate with Engineering/Technology to define product roadmaps and identify market opportunities

  • Analyze market trends, competitive offerings, customer requirements, and emerging technologies

  • Work with Operations and Supply Chain on demand forecasts, capacity planning, and product availability

  • Monitor product performance and identify cost reduction, lead time improvement, functionality enhancements, and portfolio optimization opportunities

  • Serve as product line subject matter expert for customer engagements, bids, quotations, and strategic sales opportunities

  • Build product positioning, value propositions, and launch materials with Marketing and Sales

  • Represent the business at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred

  • 2+ years in Product Management, Product Development, or related commercial roles in telecommunications, networking, broadband infrastructure, or connectivity markets

  • Proven experience managing product portfolios and driving business growth

  • Strong analytical skills across market, financial, and operational data

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Ability to influence and drive alignment across cross-functional teams

  • Excellent communication skills; ability to present technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences

  • Strong problem-solving with a data-driven approach

  • Ability to travel approximately 20–30%
