Description

RTX is seeking a software product manager to define, prioritize, and oversee development of software products, ensuring they meet market needs and business goals. The role bridges market and customers with the engineering team, guiding the product lifecycle from conception through launch and ongoing maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned to company goals

• Maintain clear product requirements and partner with Engineering to deliver success metrics

• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and gather customer feedback

• Translate market needs into detailed product specifications and user stories; prioritize by business value and customer impact

• Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and other teams for seamless product delivery

• Manage full product lifecycle: planning, development, testing, launch, and end-of-life

• Track product performance metrics and make data-driven improvements

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) with 10+ years relevant experience; or Advanced degree with 7+ years experience

• 10+ years of experience in product management and/or software development
