About the Role

Champion the full product lifecycle for the LIMS platform, from long-term vision and roadmap through deployment, user adoption, and continuous optimization across Europe and expanding global markets. Act as the bridge between business and technical execution, balancing commercial value and user satisfaction with technical viability, regulatory compliance, and budget efficiency.

Product Vision & Strategic Direction

• Craft and sustain a compelling product vision, defining the value proposition and core objectives for the LIMS platform.
• Convert high-level corporate strategies into a transparent, actionable product roadmap aligned with enterprise architecture and IT security.
• Establish and monitor KPIs focused on business value, system adoption, user happiness, and cost of ownership.

Stakeholder Engagement & Business Synergy

• Act as the central face and voice of the LIMS platform for business units, IT teams, and external vendors.
• Gather, evaluate, and prioritize incoming business requests to ensure IT requirements deliver measurable business value.
• Lead steering committees and product review alignment sessions, managing trade-offs and expectations openly.

Requirements & Backlog Craftsmanship

• Architect and refine the product backlog, structuring business needs into clearly defined epics and features.
• Ensure engineering teams understand requirements and balance functional upgrades, technical debt, and operational compliance.

Execution & Solution Delivery

• Partner with internal developers, architects, and deployment managers to steer agile sprint cycles and product increments.
• Participate in sprint reviews and demos to ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations and quality standards before rollout.

Lifecycle Management & Continuous Evolution

• Direct the application throughout its lifecycle, from ideation and active Run-phase operations to retirement.
• Coordinate with DevOps and support infrastructure to maintain platform availability and address incident trends.
• Use system logs, incident data, and direct feedback to improve user experience and reduce operational costs.

Financial & Vendor Oversight

• Support budget forecasting, business cases, and ROI analyses.
• Manage relationships and deliverables with third-party service providers integrated into the product ecosystem.

Requirements

Professional Experience

• At least 3–5 years of experience managing software applications as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Senior Business Analyst in an enterprise setting.
• Deep familiarity with modern software development lifecycles and hybrid delivery frameworks, including Scrum and SAFe.
• Demonstrated success working in cross-functional teams with developers, compliance officers, and executive business sponsors.

Technical & Domain Expertise

• Prior exposure to Healthcare, Biotech, Clinical Diagnostics, or Testing, Inspection, and Certification sectors is a plus.
• Experience developing or deploying Laboratory Information Management Systems is a strong advantage.
• Proficiency with product management and service tools, including Jira, Azure DevOps, and ServiceNow.
• Solid understanding of data flows, cloud and application integrations, and regulatory compliance constraints.
