Description

You will act as the central interface between production business departments and IT, helping automotive clients move into the digital transformation. The role focuses on designing production and IT processes, managing complex projects, creating solution architectures, and developing or replacing production software to support Industry 4.0. You will also support offer/proposal processes for customer acquisition and build lasting customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production departments in partnership with IT

• Lead and support production digitalization for leading automotive customers

• Design production and IT processes and manage large-scale projects

• Own project success and deliver tailored solutions

• Lead offer processes for customer acquisition and build strong customer relationships

• Create solution architectures and support technical concepts with the team

• Develop and implement new production software and replace outdated systems

• Contribute to continuous development of the consulting portfolio in automotive production

• Implement the Industry 4.0 vision in an interdisciplinary team

Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering or comparable knowledge

• Experience with production topics such as ERP, MES, IIoT platforms, machine data capture, OT security, or AI in production

• Strong understanding of software solutions and enterprise architecture, especially in the automotive sector

• Comfortable leading and shaping software projects in automotive

• Knowledge along the automotive supply chain

• Competence in applying AI tools and critically evaluating outputs

• Very good German and good English language skills
