Test Migration Manager

As a Senior Test Manager, you will work on a complex Mainframe-to-Linux migration project. You will ensure high quality throughout the project lifecycle, drive testing strategies, and collaborate with diverse teams to deliver transformative digital solutions.

Your main responsibilities

• Develop and document a comprehensive testing strategy for a major migration from mainframe assembler applications to Java/SQL on Linux.
• Coordinate and oversee testing activities, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards.
• Act as the primary liaison among project stakeholders, including architects, developers, and management, ensuring alignment on testing objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a specialized testing team, promoting excellence and continuous improvement.
• Monitor testing progress, analyze defect reports, and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Produce detailed test documentation and provide regular progress updates to senior management.

You’re ideal for this role if you have

• 5+ years of experience managing testing for complex projects, especially system migrations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong expertise in testing methodologies, particularly unit and functional testing.
• Proven experience working in Agile/SAFe environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

It is a strong plus if you have

• Experience with tools such as X-Ray or similar test-management solutions.
• Background in mainframe systems and Linux environments.
• Testing- or project-management-related certifications.

Language required for the role

• Fluent English, spoken and written.
