Description

Develop and implement highly specialized SAP solutions for Bundeswehr, defense contractors, and security authorities. Lead and support complex migrations from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA in security-critical environments while ensuring compliance with security policies, export control requirements, and VS (classification) conformity. Provide functional leadership in defense projects and help grow junior consultants into defense SAP experts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement SAP solutions tailored to defense and security organizations
• Support complex legacy-to-SAP S/4HANA migration projects in security-critical contexts
• Ensure adherence to security guidelines, export control regulations, and VS conformity
• Take functional lead on defense SAP projects and mentor junior consultants

Requirements

• Multi-year experience with SAP ERP / S/4HANA, ideally in SAP Defense & Security and logistics modules (MM, WM, PM, EWM)
• Solid knowledge of SAP ABAP/ABAP OO, SAP Fiori, Fiori Elements, Core Data Services, OData, and ABAP RAP
• Defense-industry experience (e.g., Bundeswehr, defense and security contractors, or defense-focused consulting)
• Willingness to undergo SÜG review or existing clearance (ideally up to VS-VERTRAULICH)
• Experience with classical and agile delivery models in regulated environments
• Requirements engineering knowledge according to IREB
• Understanding of military procurement processes, NATO standards, and defense-industry challenges
• Strong communication in German and English
