Description

Design and implement tailored backend solutions based on Odoo, including adapting existing modules and building new functionality. Analyze business processes, optimize performance, ensure smooth Odoo migrations, and provide user support and troubleshooting for Odoo installations. Collaborate with other teams to deliver creative and sustainable solutions in an agile Scrum/Kanban environment.

Responsibilities

• Innovative development of customized Odoo backend solutions (module customization and new features)
• Efficiency improvement by translating business process analysis into backend architectures and systems
• Integration support to ensure smooth Odoo migrations
• Performance optimization: identify and fix performance issues and improve the existing codebase
• Collaborative project work with different teams
• User-centered support: provide technical support, assist with debugging, and maintain Odoo installations

Requirements

• Training as a Fachinformatiker Anwendungsentwicklung, a completed IT degree, or comparable qualification
• At least 3 years of backend experience focused on Odoo modules, Odoo API, and Odoo Studio
• Strong knowledge of Python, SQL, XML
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Git
• Experience with agile development using Scrum and/or Kanban
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent German and English communication skills (written and spoken)
• Team-oriented working style; able to work independently and in interdisciplinary teams
