Description

You will design, implement, and document complex software for military communication, hardened hardware platforms, and monitoring and test systems. Responsibilities include requirements analysis, contributing to system conception and requirements engineering, creating software architectures and API designs (with documentation), and defining test/verification concepts for formal acceptance. You will also analyze and optimize the existing code base to identify bottlenecks and improve system performance.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or comparable
• Several years of software development experience in a regulated environment
• Deep knowledge of software development in Python, C++, or C#
• Sound knowledge of model-based development approaches and modern software architectures
• Good knowledge of tool-based requirements engineering
• Confident handling of collaboration platforms, version control, and development environments
• Experience in one or more of: functional safety systems, IT security, Linux, communication protocols, CI/CD (advantage)
• Willingness to contribute new technologies and best practices
• Willingness for occasional business travel
• Very good German and good English skills
• Independent, systematic work style with strong quality awareness, creativity, and teamwork
