Description

You will build and operate modern cloud architectures for high-quality, sustainable software solutions. The role emphasizes automated, audit-ready deployments using Infrastructure as Code and strong Observability, security, and cost/resource management. You will stay up to date with DevOps and cloud engineering developments and share knowledge across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design individual cloud architectures with cross-functional teams and clients.
  • Enable automated, smooth, and audit-able deployments and rollouts using IaC, configuration management tools, and reusable deployment patterns.
  • Ensure reliable, secure, and cost-efficient operations using observability tools, hardening measures, and cost/resource management.
  • Continuously track DevOps and cloud engineering trends and promote improvement initiatives through knowledge sharing and communities.
  • Support technical sales with cloud and DevOps expertise.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable education.
  • Very good German and English skills (C1) for clear communication.
  • Relevant practical experience in Cloud/DevOps and familiarity with technologies in the cloud-devops ecosystem (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Prometheus, GitLab).
  • Strong hands-on software development experience with an emphasis on security, observability, and cost efficiency.
  • DevOps mindset as a philosophy and culture, with motivation for continuous improvement and collaboration in communities.
  • Cloud provider certifications are advantageous (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, StackIT).
