Description

Lead large, complex software programs for international clients with end-to-end accountability for outcomes, from initiation through full delivery.

Define and own program governance (decision-making structures, escalation paths, reporting frameworks), oversee multi-stream program delivery, and ensure milestones are achieved within agreed timelines, scope, and budget.

Manage dependencies and alignment across internal delivery teams and selected external partners; proactively identify program risks, define mitigation strategies, and drive corrective actions.

Establish and execute structured change management with full traceability between requirements, scope, budget, and contractual agreements; build trust-based relationships with clients, sponsors, and key internal stakeholders.

Mentor and support Delivery Managers, ensure alignment with program goals, delivery standards, and ways of working, and build and lead effective program teams to foster transparency, accountability, and predictable delivery.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading large-scale IT or software programs (multi-year, multi-million EUR budgets) with full budget and delivery accountability
• Experience managing distributed, multinational teams and collaborating with external vendors or partners
• Strong communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills in complex stakeholder environments
• High ownership and decisiveness; ability to operate independently and make informed trade-off decisions
• Pragmatic, problem-solving mindset focused on outcomes
• Practical knowledge of program and delivery frameworks (e.g., PMP, SAFe; certifications a plus)
• Solid understanding of software delivery lifecycles (SDLC) and modern software engineering practices
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• EU region and valid work permit required
