Description

You will help design secure, reliable, and cost-efficient cloud solutions by working with interdisciplinary teams and customers. The role focuses on automation and audit-ready deployments using infrastructure-as-code, configuration management, and reusable deployment patterns, while ensuring strong operations through observability, security hardening, and cost/resource management.

Responsibilities

  • Design individual cloud architectures for high-quality, sustainable software solutions with interdisciplinary teams and customers.
  • Collaborate with developers and operators to implement appropriate automation and smooth, auditable deployments and rollouts using IaC and configuration management tools.
  • Enable reliable, secure, and cost-efficient operations through observability tooling, hardening measures, and cost/resource management.
  • Stay up to date with DevOps and cloud engineering developments and promote continuous improvement through knowledge sharing in communities and conferences.
  • Support technical sales with your domain expertise.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable education.
  • Very good German and English skills (C1 level) for clear communication.
  • Relevant practical experience in the described scope, including strategic use of cloud-DevOps ecosystem technologies such as Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Prometheus, and GitLab.
  • High-quality mindset and practical software development experience, with understanding of software architectures grounded in implementation; strong sense for security, observability, and cost efficiency.
  • DevOps understanding as a philosophy and culture with motivation for continuous improvement (e.g., communities of practice, conferences).
  • Cloud provider certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, StackIT) are a plus.
