Description

You will be the first developer for PLIQ and build its technical base from scratch—architecture, data model, and codebase. Together with the team you align on core decisions such as stack, hosting strategy, security architecture, and make-or-buy questions, then take responsibility for implementation, code quality, testing strategy, development processes, and system operation. You’ll also evaluate technical feasibility and shape how AI-assisted coding tools are used.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and data model and drive core engineering decisions

• Implement a maintainable, industry-standard stack

• Ensure code quality, test strategy, and development processes

• Operate and maintain the productive system

• Assess feasibility and effort of requirements; decide on technical trade-offs

• Define effective usage of AI-assisted development / agentic coding tools

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of software development experience

• Several years of operational responsibility for a productive B2B system

• Practical experience with multi-tenant applications and authorization concepts

• Strong experience in a modern full-stack environment (TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL, cloud hosting in Germany)

• Understanding of privacy and information security (GDPR-compliant processing, encryption, audit logging)

• Experience with AI-supported development tools (or clear willingness to adopt them)

• German proficiency at C1 level

• Experience in regulated or document-heavy industries is a plus
