Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect for a globally utilized Managed File Transfer (GMFT) platform. The platform has been rebuilt to meet stringent security standards and compliance requirements such as GDPR and SOX, and the next phase includes expanding and consolidating the platform by migrating legacy solutions and enhancing functionalities for scalability and global usability.

Responsibilities

  • Define and continuously evolve the target architecture
  • Extend and standardize intake channels (SFTP, API, Email, SharePoint and others) and integrate heterogeneous legacy MFT solutions into a central platform
  • Define migration strategies and support execution
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability and availability
  • Enhance and automate core operational processes (onboarding, offboarding, service provisioning, certificate management)
  • Ensure a highly secure file intake process and perform continuous security vulnerability assessments
  • Enhance monitoring capabilities, including automated incident creation and health checks
  • Collaborate closely with globally distributed development, operations, and security teams, translating business requirements into technical solutions and architectural guidelines

Requirements

  • Fluency in English (C1)
  • 5+ years of experience as a software developer/architect with strong grasp of the software development life cycle, clean coding, OO principles, and agile/DevOps practices
  • Proven expertise in enterprise, service-based, and cloud architectures with a successful project track record
  • Solid programming experience in Python
  • Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP interfaces and databases (MSSQL, Oracle, Postgres)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure (Scale Sets, Kubernetes, Storage, Service Bus, APIM)
  • Experience with Terraform and automation of operational processes
  • Security tooling/concepts experience (Microsoft Defender, certificate management, secure intake flows such as PGP/TLS/SSH, and OAuth2-based authentication)
  • Practical experience with observability and reporting solutions such as DataDog (dashboards, alerting, incident automation) and Power BI for customer-facing reports
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities, analytical/problem-solving mindset, and ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical audiences
  • Expertise in Seeburger BIS or other MFT solutions and experience integrating MFT into enterprise applications
