Description
As our Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Physician, you will join a collaborative, multispecialty team dedicated to delivering pulmonary and critical care services throughout central and western North Dakota. You will have the opportunity to build a balanced pulmonary and critical care practice while serving a broad regional patient population in a supportive, physician-led environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient pulmonary services through an established clinic practice
- Deliver inpatient pulmonary and critical care services
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a broad range of pulmonary and critical care conditions
- Participate in the care of critically ill patients within a 14-bed closed ICU
- Perform a full spectrum of pulmonary procedures, including bronchoscopy, EBUS, pulmonary function testing interpretation, and related diagnostic procedures
- Collaborate closely with hospitalists, respiratory therapists, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary specialists to optimize patient outcomes
- Utilize two state-of-the-art bronchoscopy/endoscopy suite designed to support advanced procedural care
- Academic affiliation with UND School of Medicine & Health Services
- Contribute to a culture of clinical excellence, collaboration, and patient-centered care
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine
- Completion of a Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship Program
- Valid North Dakota medical license or eligibility for medical licensure in the State of North Dakota
- North Dakota DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
