Description

As our academic and clinical gastroenterologist, you will become part of a highly respected Gastroenterology team. You will provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services for the full spectrum of gastrointestinal diseases, with opportunities to work with learners, residents and fellows from the Gastroenterology fellowship program at Creighton University School of Medicine.

This role is board eligible or board certified in Gastroenterology and is well-suited for physicians passionate about comprehensive Gastroenterology care, with a patient-centered approach and commitment to collaboration. Success requires excellent communication, sound clinical judgement, and the ability to thrive in a collegial, team oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for the full spectrum of gastrointestinal diseases
  • Collaborate with GI fellowship learners, residents, and fellows
  • Join experienced GI providers, including Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
  • Work with dedicated IBD specialists and other GI subspecialty expertise (esophageal, motility, pancreatic, hepatology)
  • Perform advanced procedures including ERCP and EUS
  • Participate in clinical research with an academic appointment commensurate with experience
  • Pursue flexible clinical and procedural interests in a growing division

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree
  • BE/BC in Internal Medicine
  • BE/BC in Gastroenterology
  • Ability to obtain licensure in Nebraska
  • DEA certification
  • BLS
