Description

As an Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBGYN) physician, you will provide comprehensive healthcare to women throughout all stages of life, including preventive care, prenatal and obstetric care, diagnosis and treatment of gynecologic conditions, reproductive health services, and surgical management when appropriate. Every day you will apply broad medical and surgical expertise to manage pregnancies and deliveries, perform gynecologic procedures and surgeries, and communicate effectively to ensure compassionate, coordinated, continuous care.

You will deliver comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care across the lifespan—supporting both routine and complex women’s health needs—while promoting patient safety, well-being, and high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive care for women across the lifespan
• Manage prenatal and obstetric care, including pregnancies and deliveries
• Diagnose and treat gynecologic conditions
• Provide reproductive health services
• Perform appropriate gynecologic procedures and surgeries
• Conduct assessment and develop treatment plans
• Communicate to ensure compassionate, coordinated, continuous care
• Promote patient safety, well-being, and high-quality outcomes
• Refer to specialists when appropriate

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Completion of an accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program
• Active Physician license in the State of Kentucky
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
