Product Owner Digital Commerce

Commerce DevOps Hub is being established as part of the Global Digital & Technology Function. The hub will maintain and develop functional and technical IT solutions supporting the Commerce area.

Role

The Product Owner is accountable for defining the feature roadmap and ensuring it is connected to epics and outcomes, including impact and value. The role aligns with Senior Product Owners, the touchpoint lead, and other business and Digital & Technology stakeholders across the functional, non-functional, and technical aspects of the product, capability, or solution.

The Product Owner defines feature outcomes and key success criteria, facilitates product-team refinement, and prioritises the backlog according to team and portfolio priorities based on impact and value. The role stays current with technical and methodological trends and best practices, validates deliveries against success criteria and KPIs, and manages budget and capacity within preset run rates.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute product strategy, roadmap, and value proposition aligned with the RTC strategy and DBB foundation.
• Use data and analytics to monitor platform performance, customer behaviour, and adoption within the domain.
• Partner with the Value Measurement & CX team to define and track business outcomes.
• Implement OKRs and a robust KPI framework to steer priorities and effectiveness across markets.
• Include quality and data in definitions of done.
• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle within a specific domain or feature set, from ideation through deployment and optimisation.
• Optimise feature-roadmap intake, implement best practices, and actively contribute to continuous improvement.
• Lead and empower cross-functional teams, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
• Work with design, engineering, experimentation, business stakeholders, and customers to develop business cases and roadmaps that deliver value.
• Plan sprints with stakeholders; decide sprint content and priorities; manage dependencies, portfolio collaboration, and trade-offs between time, effort, features, and value.
• Maintain and refine the feature-level product backlog to maximise reusability between OPCOs and prioritise according to aligned value practices and guidelines.
• Champion change management and stakeholder engagement.
• Collaborate with Sales, Trade Marketing, MtC process teams, and Digital & Technology teams to optimise customer and user journeys.
• Communicate expectations, business impacts, and emerging user needs to teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Business or Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in digital product management.
• Understanding of the digital product lifecycle and omnichannel strategy.
• Experience with data analytics tools and leading large-scale change.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Flexible mindset and readiness for challenges.
• Expertise in digital commerce platforms.
• Agile leadership and stakeholder-management skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional Agile, Scrum, or Product Management certifications.
• Experience in digital commerce, stakeholder management, and agile methodologies.
• Digital transformation experience.
• Commercial value-chain expertise.
