Tax Finance Platform Consultant

Description

The Tax Finance Platform Consultant works within the tax finance platforms product team to translate business requirements into solutions in the SAP DRC platform. The role safeguards the global solution template for tax reporting and e-invoicing and supports its ongoing development, deployment, and operation.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into SAP DRC solutions.
• Safeguard the global solution template for tax reporting and e-invoicing.
• Keep current with functional-area developments and support knowledge development, transfer, and retention.
• Deliver functional enhancements, including writing and reviewing functional specifications and test scripts, within agreed timescales and quality standards.
• Support end users with issue resolution, user acceptance testing, and training.
• Manage solution quality and technical debt.
• Identify product bottlenecks and root causes; propose solutions that reduce complexity.
• Guide and coach team members during the design process to embed competencies needed to develop, deploy, and support the product.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Electronics, or related studies.
• At least 5 years of consulting experience, ideally in the Tax domain.
• Experience implementing SAP DRC for both reporting and e-invoicing, preferably across multiple countries.
• Understanding of tax reporting and e-invoicing processes.
• SAP FI, SD, and MM experience or understanding.
• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in agile product teams and build consensus among stakeholders.
• Experience rolling out solutions in complex global programs.
• English at C1 level.

• Architecture experience with other tax solutions.
• Experience with JIRA and SNOW.
• ITIL process knowledge.
• Experience working in Agile.
