Junior IT Specialist (M/F/D)

We are looking for a Junior IT Specialist to support the design process, deployment, and maintenance of physical security systems across multiple facilities in line with Physical Security Standards. The role covers Access Control Systems (ACS), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and Video Surveillance Systems (VSS/CCTV).

Job Duties

• Design, install, and maintain access control systems, including various card types, credentials, and mobile credential technologies, across multiple buildings simultaneously.
• Prepare system setup, operations, and lifecycle documentation for internal and external teams.
• Test new equipment technologies and software solutions, and prepare recommendations.
• Manage and administer security systems, including access control, intrusion detection, and video management systems (VMS).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess security needs, recommend solutions, and ensure systems meet operational requirements across multiple facilities.
• Monitor system performance, conduct routine maintenance, and respond to technical issues to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in access control, intrusion detection, and video surveillance technologies.
• Provide remote assistance during security-system implementations, including technical deployment advice and final implementation verification.

Qualifications

• Experience with different access control systems, including card-based credentials, mobile credentials, and multi-site deployments.
• Hands-on experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting security systems to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
• Proven experience managing intrusion detection and video management systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage complex security solutions across multiple buildings.
• Fluency in spoken and written English at a minimum B2+ level.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
