Fullstack Developer - AI and API Platform Portal

About the role

Join the Integration and AI engineering team to develop a self-service portal that supports onboarding and management of services across AI and API platform capabilities. The team builds self-service capabilities that help teams integrate with core platforms such as Kafka and Kong, enabling secure, efficient onboarding, management, and operation of services. The role includes building backend and frontend services, developing custom integrations, and improving the developer experience for platform users.

The team is extending its self-service approach to AI-related integration patterns, including LLMs, MCP, and A2A. You will work closely with DevOps engineers, developers, UI/UX designers, product owners, architects, and platform stakeholders in a collaborative engineering environment focused on quality, automation, security, and developer experience.

Main responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend and frontend components of the self-service portal and implement new capabilities.
• Build backend services using Spring Boot.
• Create frontend features with React, TypeScript, and Material UI.
• Develop and troubleshoot integrations between the gateway and internal applications or external vendors.
• Design and consume REST APIs to deliver reliable, maintainable, and well-structured service interfaces.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality platform capabilities.
• Contribute to AI-driven features and integrations supporting LLMs, MCP, and A2A.

What you bring

• Hands-on fullstack development experience, with an interest in useful, reliable, and maintainable software.
• Experience with integration patterns, including building and consuming REST APIs and integrating applications, platforms, and vendors.
• Experience or interest in AI technologies and integration with LLMs, MCPs, and A2A.

Background and skills

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Professional experience as a fullstack, backend, or frontend developer.

Technical skills — must have
