IT Developer / Senior IT Developer for GCOP Transaction Reporting

Full-time role in GCOP Transaction Reporting.

About the team

The Trading Ops SWD Reporting Team builds high-quality post-trade platforms that support customers. The team delivers technical solutions for reporting transaction, settlement and position information to tax authorities, central banks, FSAs, trade repositories and other authorities.

The team maintains existing reporting, develops new reports in response to increasing external requirements, and simplifies system architecture by moving data sourcing and processing toward strategic tools and architecture.

Description

As an IT Developer, you will help shape and develop the future technology landscape within Capital Markets Technology. You will build and maintain solutions supporting regulatory reporting to regulators and other financial institutions.

• Work primarily with established technologies while adopting new technology areas as needed to help the team meet its commitments.

Background and skills

• 3+ years of Java development experience using Java 8+.
• Experience with Kafka, Oracle SQL, Docker and Hibernate.
• Familiarity with Angular, Spring Boot and Gradle.
• Linux and Bash scripting skills.
• CI/CD pipeline experience; Bamboo is a plus.
• Understanding of SSL/TLS and certificate management.
• Fluency in English.
