Mid Node.js Developer

What You'll Do

• Deliver features for high-throughput platforms processing millions of daily HTTP requests and messages.
• Develop with Kafka, MongoDB, ClickHouse, and Redis.
• Own new features from implementation through deployment, with support from senior staff.
• Implement features, help scale the platform, optimize query performance, and maintain system stability.
• Improve code quality, write clean code, and refactor existing modules for maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and cross-functional collaboration.

What We're Looking For

Must-Have Skills

• Proficiency in TypeScript and ES6+.
• Strong working knowledge of Node.js and frameworks such as Fastify, Express, or NestJS.
• Solid experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including query optimization, index management, and basic schema design.
• Practical understanding of web scaling concepts: Redis caching, load balancing, and asynchronous processing.
• Good code review practices and a collaborative mindset.
• English proficiency at B2 level or above.
• At least 1 year of professional backend development experience.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Knowledge of microservices and messaging systems such as AMQP and Kafka.
• Experience with OLAP technologies, such as Druid, ClickHouse, or Snowflake.
• Familiarity with Angular, NestJS, or Express.js.
• React Native experience.
• Go or Rust.
• DevOps tools: Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Startup experience.
