Join Our Team as an AI-native Backend Engineer!Join one of our cross-functional teams in Motors, Real Estate, OLX Classifieds or Platforms, working remotely from Poland. As part of our 1,000+ tech team across multiple locations, you’ll collaborate with engineers, SREs, and product teams to build scalable, high-impact solutions, while reporting to an Engineering Manager who will support your growth and impact.We use Golang and/or Kotlin (depending on the team), modernizing systems as we transition from legacy PHP and move towards a microservices architecture, deploying through GitLab CI/CD to AWS.If you're passionate about solving technical challenges and scaling cloud systems with AI as part of your daily workflow, we’d love to hear from you!Who we are looking for:Someone who embraces a “you build it, you run it, you own it” mindset: including for AI-generated output: you validate, refactor, and take full accountabilityAn engineer with solid experience in software development, ideally in Golang, Java/Kotlin (preferred technologies), and able to work with PHP.Someone with experience in relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, DynamoDB, Redis, Memcached) and a good grasp of AWS and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)A problem solver who approaches challenges with both a technical and user-first mindset to build impactful solutionsYou write structured prompts for multi-step tasks and maintain project-level AI context (CLAUDE.md / rules files): you catch bugs and gaps in AI-generated output before it lands in productionYou demonstrate measurable judgment about when to use AI and when to override it: you use AI for debugging, performance analysis, and complex refactoring while owning the outcomeA team player who is open to discussions, cross-team collaboration, and knowledge sharingWhat you will be doing:Contribute technically to projects and take part in the planning, execution, and success of complex technical tasksBe an integral part of the team: establish credibility through the quality of your own and your team’s technical executionUse AI to accelerate delivery: delegate routine implementation, generate tests and documentation, and apply AI to debugging and refactoring - while owning every line that shipsAsk questions, brainstorm, and own the product you’re buildingWork closely with product management to ensure you’re building the best products for usersOur Hiring Process: Recruiter InterviewEngineering Manager InterviewLive CodingSystem DesignOur Benefits:Monthly salary and an annual bonus (15%)Training and conference budget and free access to Udemy coursesA benefits package with 300 points on the Mybenefit platform per month, private medical care provided by Luxmed, Ask Henry services, and much more100% remote work (as well as the possibility of working from our offices in Poznan and Warsaw)
