AI-native Software Engineer

Join a cross-functional team in Motors, Real Estate, OLX Classifieds, or Platforms, working remotely from Poland. Collaborate with engineers, SREs, and product teams to build scalable, high-impact solutions, reporting to an Engineering Manager who supports your growth and impact.

We use Golang and/or Kotlin, depending on the team, and are modernizing systems as we transition from legacy PHP toward a microservices architecture. Deployments are managed through GitLab CI/CD to AWS.

Who we are looking for

• A “you build it, you run it, you own it” mindset, including validating, refactoring, and taking full accountability for AI-generated output.
• Solid software-development experience, ideally in Golang and Java/Kotlin, with the ability to work with PHP.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases: MySQL, DynamoDB, Redis, and Memcached.
• A good understanding of AWS and Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform and CloudFormation.
• A technical, user-first problem-solving approach.
• Ability to write structured prompts for multi-step tasks and maintain project-level AI context through CLAUDE.md or rules files; able to catch bugs and gaps in AI-generated output before production.
• Judgment about when to use or override AI, including using it for debugging, performance analysis, and complex refactoring while owning the outcome.
• Openness to discussions, cross-team collaboration, and knowledge sharing.

• Contribute technically to projects and participate in the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex technical tasks.
• Build credibility through high-quality technical execution by yourself and your team.
• Use AI to accelerate delivery by delegating routine implementation, generating tests and documentation, and applying AI to debugging and refactoring, while owning every line that ships.
• Ask questions, brainstorm, and take ownership of the product you build.
• Work closely with product management to build the best products for users.
