Senior Technical Researcher/Engineer

You Will

As a Senior Technical Researcher/Engineer within the AdTech Technical Research Team, you’ll explore and evaluate the latest technologies in the AdTech domain. You’ll conduct in-depth research, experiment with new technologies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess their potential integration into systems. The role combines programming, research, and analytical work to evaluate the effectiveness and feasibility of AdTech solutions.

Desired Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a researcher or engineer
• Strong technical proficiency, including programming skills and the ability to understand large, complex systems and architectures
• Openness and willingness to experiment and learn, with readiness to take on new challenges and explore new technologies in AdTech
• Independence and a proactive attitude, including the ability to take initiative and make decisions with minimal supervision
• Goal-oriented mindset and adaptability in a dynamic environment
• Collaboration and communication skills, including knowledge sharing with teammates and cooperation with external organizations such as major browser vendors, W3C, and GitHub discussions
• Ability to build Proofs of Concept (PoCs), including prototypes and experimental solutions for evaluating effectiveness and utility

• Assess new privacy mechanisms, such as Privacy Sandbox APIs, by building PoCs, testing, and suggesting improvements through GitHub issues or meetings. The goal is to evaluate feasibility, ensure compliance, and enhance user privacy.
• Explore Android and iOS solutions, including prototypes to improve mobile-platform performance. This requires close collaboration with other teams and leveraging machine-learning opportunities.
