Senior Golang Software Engineer

Key responsibilities

• Architect & Build: Design, implement, and maintain high-performance Go-based applications for internal and external clients.
• Code Quality: Ensure clean, scalable, and maintainable code through strict reviews and best practices.
• Optimization: Proactively identify bottlenecks, optimizing existing solutions and overall application performance.
• Leadership & Mentoring: Act as a technical mentor for the team, support the Leader in creating Individual Development Plans (IDPs), and guide developers through architectural changes.
• Innovation: Propose new ideas and select appropriate technologies to solve complex business problems.
• Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver value.
• Testing: Ensure reliability by creating comprehensive unit and integration tests.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 5 years focused on Go (Golang).
• Proven experience in designing and building distributed systems and microservices.
• Strong understanding of architectural patterns, including Hexagonal and Clean Architecture.
• Proficiency with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs and gRPC.
• Familiarity with the Gin Framework.
• Experience with ElasticSearch and Redis.
• English proficiency at B2 level (communicative).

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of message brokers: Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with observability tools: Kibana, Grafana, and Sentry.
• Practical understanding of DDD (Domain-Driven Design).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Track record of process optimization and improving development workflows.
